Job summary

Taco, Inc. is seeking an Assembler Tester II for the 1st shift in Rhode Island. You will perform intermediate assembly and testing of various products, maintaining materials and updating work in the ERP system.

The role requires detailed, multi-step assembly with variations for complex products, on-site in a production environment. Responsibilities include reviewing ERP data daily, maintaining inventory, and performing tests to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

6 months of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
Competent to operate computer and complete basic data entry in systems.
Must successfully learn specific responsibilities and adhere to production procedures.
Proficient and functioning in job responsibilities and able to attain MPS training sign-off within 90 days.
Physical dexterity to manipulate hand tools and power tools.
Ability to push, pull, lift and/or move materials up to 30 lbs; capable of using hoists for materials over 30 lbs.
Standing for long periods and performing repetitive work.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

Performs detailed, multi-step complex assembly of parts and products per MPS and BOM.
Reviews job information in ERP daily to determine orders to process.
Maintains inventory of materials for production orders.
Operates equipment and uses hand and pneumatic tools.
May perform painting processes of assembled pumps on a rotating basis.
Performs standard tests after assembly to ensure tolerances and quality.
