Job summary

Taco Family of Companies in Cranston, RI, is seeking an Assembler Tester II for a Regular Full-Time, 1st Shift, on-site role. You will assemble and test various components, maintain materials, update ERP records, and ensure accuracy and quality across multiple steps.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to safety, and the ability to work in a team environment with standard procedure-based tasks and occasional painting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing.
• Able to learn Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) training sign-off within 90 days.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift/move materials up to 30 lbs (hoists for heavier items).
• Detail-oriented and capable of following procedures precisely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed, multi-step assembly of parts and products per MPS and BOM.
• Review ERP job orders daily to determine what to process.
• Maintain inventory of materials for production orders.
• Operate equipment and use hand and pneumatic tools as instructed.
• May perform painting processes on pumps on a rotating basis.
• Test assembled parts to ensure tolerances and quality standards.
