Job summary

Taco, Inc. in Cranston, RI is seeking an Assembler Tester I for our on-site production team. This Regular Full-Time role operates on 2nd shift and focuses on basic assembly and testing of a range of products.

You will follow Manufacturing Process Sheets and Bills of Materials, work with ERP data, maintain a clean workspace, and contribute to quality and safety standards in a busy manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates have at least a high school diploma, are comfortable with manual tools,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 months of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficient to operate computer and complete basic data entry in systems.
• Able to learn responsibilities and adhere to procedures.
• Physical dexterity to manipulate hand and power tools.
• Ability to push, pull, lift up to 30 lbs; hoist if needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic assembly of parts and products per MPS and BOM.
• Reviews ERP job information daily to determine orders to process.
• Maintains inventory of materials needed for production orders.
• Operates basic equipment and uses common hand and pneumatic tools.
• Performs standard tests after assembly to ensure tolerances and quality.
