Job summary

Taco, Inc. in Cranston, RI is seeking an Assembler Tester I I to perform intermediate assembly and testing of pumps and components, following Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) and Bills of Material (BOM). The role requires updating the ERP system and maintaining production readiness.

The position emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in a production environment, with opportunities for skill development and growth within the manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Competent to operate computer and complete basic data entry in systems.
• Must learn responsibilities and adhere to production procedures.
• Able to attain MPS training sign-off within 90 days.
• Physical dexterity to manipulate hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed, multi-step assembly of parts and products according to MPS and BOM.
• Review ERP job information daily to determine orders to process.
• Maintain inventory of materials needed for production orders.
• Operate equipment and use hand and pneumatic tools as instructed.
• May perform painting processes of assembled pumps on a rotating basis.
• Perform standard tests after assembly to ensure tolerances and quality.
