Job summary

Oilgear is seeking an Assembly & Test Technician in Houston, TX to support testing and assembly of high-performance hydraulic systems. You will follow department leads, maintain a safe workspace, and document procedures to ensure traceability.

Candidates should read schematics, use precision measuring instruments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to verify quality and meet production schedules. This role offers training, growth opportunities, and a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in manufacturing/assembly.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and procedures.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and assembly tasks as instructed by Department Leads or Director.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform diversified assembly and test operations to assemble highly intricate and/or large equipment.
• Aid in planning assembling and testing procedures; instruct and check work of others.
• Complete skilled fitting, aligning, and secondary machining of the product.
