Job summary

Oilgear is seeking a detail-oriented assembler/test technician to perform a wide range of assembly and test operations on hydraulic components. You will prepare components, assemble new projects, and test units under pressure, recording data and ensuring compliance with specifications.

The role requires reading assembly drawings, using precision measuring tools, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while meeting production standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to use precision test equipment and gauging devices.
• Ability to inspect and test assemblies to meet drawings and quality standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot quality, product, or production issues and suggest resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and assembly tasks as directed by shop leads or supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assemble and test highly intricate or large precision equipment and sub-assemblies.
• Set up and test valves or pumps under pressure and record data.
• Follow complex drawings and specifications to ensure proper assembly.
