Oilgear is seeking an Assembly & Test Technician for 2nd shift in Fremont, NE. The role involves assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and inspecting hydraulic components to engineering specs and production schedules.

Candidates should read and follow complex drawings, use precision tools, and maintain safety, quality, and productivity. Training on 1st shift is offered, then 3:00 PM–11:00 PM rotation after training.

Competenze

• Demonstrated ability to build & test with little or no assistance while meeting quality/production standards.
• Ability to use a variety of complex test equipment, precision measuring instruments, and gauging devices.
• Ability to perform inspection and testing and adhere to production and quality standards and drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot quality, product, or production issues and provide resolutions.
• Requires a high degree of skill and assembling technique.
• Knowledge of basic design, mechanical principles, testing procedures, and hydraulics.

Mansioni

• Assemble and test components and systems to close tolerances and strict inspection requirements.
• Fit parts and sub-assemblies; perform alignment and secondary machining as needed.
• Work from complex assembly drawings and specifications; perform prescribed checks.
• Set up and operate test stand equipment with minimal supervision.
• Produce quality assemblies; identify and correct defects or malfunctions.
• Train lower-grade operators when needed; maintain clean and safe work area.
