Job summary

MAAG Group in Kent, Ohio is seeking an Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble Maag equipment including pelletizers, pulverizers, water baths, pumps, screen changers, conveyors, and color mixers, following drawings and quality standards.

You will lift up to 70-80 pounds, use micrometers and feeler gauges, and work with overhead cranes while reading blueprints. Teamwork, reliability, and overtime readiness are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment per drawings and assembly procedures.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and electrical prints.
• Use micrometers and feeler gauges to verify tolerances on prints.
• Operate overhead cranes with proper safety procedures.
• Document labor hours and complete production logs and quality forms.
• Participate in team continuous improvement and daily meetings.
