Dover Corp in Kent, OH is seeking an assembler to contribute to the assembly of Maag family equipment, including pelletizers, pulverizers, water baths, and pumps. The role emphasizes on-time delivery, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety protocols in a factory setting.

The incumbent will read assembly prints, use micrometers and gauges, and perform heavy lifting and overhead work as required. Overtime and weekend shifts may be needed to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education (mechanical aptitude a plus)
• Woodworking or wood assembly is desirable but not required
• Forklift operation knowledge and safety training is a plus

Responsabilités

• Assemble components per drawings and layouts using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints
• Lift and position parts up to 50–80 lbs and work overhead as needed
• Document labor hours and report discrepancies
• Participate in continuous improvement and daily meetings
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE
