Job summary

Crane Company is seeking an assembler to join our Cincinnati operations. You will assemble components into subassemblies and finished units, using hand and pneumatic tools, while verifying dimensions and quality against routing sheets.

The role requires reading blueprints, basic math, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Training on hazardous waste handling may be required for painting-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires high school education and ability to read blueprints.
• Must have basic math skills and be able to perform manual assembly.
• 0–1 year of assembly experience preferred.
• Annual training on hazardous waste handling if painting is involved.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts into subassemblies and finished units using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Inspect components for correct size, material and machining; consult supervisor when issues arise.
• Follow routing sheets and procedures to ensure quality and fit; record heat numbers and material markings.
