Job summary

Oatey is seeking an assembler in Shakopee, MN to perform assembly duties for a range of products including test balls, tubes, and drains. You will read prints, use basic measurement, and follow SOPs to ensure quality and on-time build.

Responsibilities include preparing components, setting up equipment, inspecting finished work, documenting results, and supporting daily production plans. A willingness to learn and train others is valued in our collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Willing to learn and train others when requested.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to build products per SOPs by reading prints and using basic math.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly/build.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Visually inspect and test products for conformance using gauges and other devices.
• Document completed and incomplete work orders and reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
