Job summary

Pentair in White Bear Lake, MN is seeking an Assembly Operator II to support production on the first shift. You will perform basic assembly tasks, follow work instructions, and help maintain quality across multiple stations.

You will cross-train on different tasks, use measurement tools, and participate in safety and Lean initiatives. OT on Fridays is mandatory; opportunity for skill-based pay increases exists.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience or related field.
• Basic mechanical principles and assembly processes.
• Proficient in English communication, written and spoken.
• Safe, proper use of common assembly tools and measurement devices.
• Ability to read simple engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Ability to identify and escalate minor mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with fixtures, jigs, and standard tooling.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, twist, lift up to 40 lbs; steel-toed shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic production and assembly tasks and cross-train across stations.
• Follow work instructions, orders, and route packets.
• Operate equipment and perform assembly per procedures.
• Inspect parts and processes to ensure quality standards.
• Support 5S and Lean manufacturing practices.
• Meet production targets while maintaining quality.
• Verify parts meet specifications using visual inspection and tools.
