Job summary

Iris Technology in Irvine, CA seeks a Mechanical Technician to complete final assembly and testing of high-value products. You will perform top-level mechanical assembly, follow exact work instructions, and support vibration testing and packaging in a controlled lab environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade school certification or associate degree preferred.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, electronics manufacturing, or environmental testing is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform final top-level mechanical assembly per drawings and SWIs.
• Set up, run, and monitor vibration tests per SWIs.
• Apply adhesives to secure components and prevent shifting.
• Package completed units securely for shipment.
• Follow documentation protocols to log test results and quality checks.
• Support test team with additional duties as needed.
