Oshkosh Corporation in Terre Haute, IN, is looking for an assembler to safely construct equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders. You will use mechanical, electrical, and manual tools to complete diverse assemblies.

You will install product accessories, operate an overhead crane, measure to spec, drill and tap holes, and read schematics to select options. Lifting up to 35 lbs solo, plus team lifts, bending and standing are required.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ months of experience in the manufacturing or general labor industry.
• Willingness to work overtime including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site.

Aufgaben

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately using tools like tape measures.
• Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
• Identify required options from schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions.
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs).
• Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Keep a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules and 6S standards.
