Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Irwin, PA is seeking Assembly Technicians to join our Motion Systems Group and ECM division. You will assemble products on 1st or 2nd shifts, reading drawings, inspecting parts, labeling, and packaging for shipping.

You will work in a high-safety, quality-focused environment with weekly compensation and a 4.5 day workweek. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to standard work practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of hand tools.
• Proficient in basic math skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble finished products with attention to detail.
• Meet daily production standards and metrics.
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports.
• Conduct visual inspections of assembled parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Label products and perform initial packaging to prepare items for shipping.
• Ensure proper handling, use, and disposal of chemicals, as needed.
• Promote a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality, safety, cost and on-time delivery.
• Standard work and ad hoc responsibilities as defined by priorities and standards.
• Workflow determined by customer requirements.
