Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Irwin, PA is seeking Assembly Technicians to join our Motion Systems Group and ECM division. You will assemble products on 1st or 2nd shifts, reading drawings, inspecting parts, labeling, and packaging for shipping.

You will work in a high-safety, quality-focused environment with weekly compensation and a 4.5 day workweek. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to standard work practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of hand tools.
• Proficient in basic math skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble finished products with attention to detail.
• Meet daily production standards and metrics.
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports.
• Conduct visual inspections of assembled parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Label products and perform initial packaging to prepare items for shipping.
• Ensure proper handling, use, and disposal of chemicals, as needed.
• Promote a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures.

Our Electronic Controls & Motion (ECM) division is currently seeking Assembly Technicians to join our Irwin, PA team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the assembly of our products. Positions are available on 1st and 2nd Shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble finished products using various tools with strong attention to detail
• Meet daily production standards and operational metrics
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and/or reports
• Conduct visual inspections of assembled parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Label products and perform initial packaging to prepare items for shipping.
• Ensure proper handling, use, and disposal of chemicals, substances and materials, as needed
