Job summary

Oatey Company in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to join our team. You will read SOPs, assemble components, follow daily production schedules, prepare materials, and set up equipment for daily builds while maintaining quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.
• One to two years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or Assemble components according to SOP’s by reading, understanding and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage Product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
