Oatey Co. is seeking an assembly technician in Shakopee, MN to build and package products per SOPs. You will read prints, prepare materials, and set up equipment for daily builds, while ensuring quality with gauges and tests.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery and read blueprints or learn to read them.
• Accuracy in measuring and sound decision making.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble components to build product per SOPs by reading prints and following procedures.
• Follow daily assembly schedule and prepare materials as needed.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build and order raw materials when needed.
• Visually inspect and test products for conformance using gauges and instruments.
• Document completed work orders and reports.
