Oatey is seeking an Assembly Technician in Shakopee, MN. The role involves assembling components per SOPs, reading blueprints, and following daily production schedules. You will set up tools, stage parts, and document production outcomes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and 1–2 years of manufacturing experience. Strong math, reading, communication, and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or Assemble components according to SOPs by reading, understanding and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
