Job summary

Oatey Fr in Shakopee, MN is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble components according to SOPs, read schedules, and prepare materials for daily builds on the line.

You'll set up equipment, stage products, document output, and support continuous operations. The role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to read blueprints or learn quickly. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components according to SOPs by reading, understanding and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
