Job summary

Oatey is seeking an Assembly position in Shakopee, MN. You will demonstrate proficiency in assembling large and small components, following SOPs, and preparing materials for daily builds. Each day you will align with the schedule and document completed work.

Minimum high school diploma preferred; 1–2 years in manufacturing recommended. Training in reading blueprints and operating machinery is a plus, with pay ranging based on experience and internal review.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints or ability and willingness to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.
• One (1) to two (2) years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or Assemble components according to SOP’s by reading, understanding and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage Product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
