Job summary

Oatey in Shakopee, MN is seeking a capable assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will prepare and assemble components per SOPs, read blueprints, operate machines, and support daily build schedules.

We offer competitive pay from $15.71 to $24.35 per hour, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, health insurance, and tuition reimbursement. High School Diploma preferred; prior manufacturing experience helpful.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble components according to SOPs.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide assembly.
• Set up equipment for daily build and maintain tooling.
• Stage, label, and document finished products.
• Support daily production schedule and housekeeping tasks.
