Job summary

TransCore-Amtech Systems (AMS) in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Manufacturing Operator II to perform mechanical and automated assembly, soldering, and inspection of PWAs and sub-assemblies under limited supervision.

Day shift is Monday–Friday, from 7:00am to 3:00pm. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience; reading drawings and IPC soldering certification preferred; basic data entry and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
• Experience with mechanical assembly and soldering is preferred.
• Must have attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
• Experience with PWAs and sub-assemblies is desirable.
• IPC soldering certification or ability to obtain it may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly and hand soldering of PWAs and sub-assemblies.
• Operate automated/manual assembly equipment such as Pick-N-Place and Wave Solder.
• Record data accurately and maintain documentation for processes.
