TransCore-Amtech Systems (AMS) in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Manufacturing Operator II to perform mechanical and automated assembly, soldering, and inspection of PWAs and sub-assemblies under limited supervision.
Day shift is Monday–Friday, from 7:00am to 3:00pm. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience; reading drawings and IPC soldering certification preferred; basic data entry and attention to detail are essential.
Performs various mechanical, automated, or hand assembly, and processing of assemblies and sub-assemblies. Under limited supervision, uses visual aids, wiring lists, and written instructions to assemble, solder, rework or reassemble units or sub-assemblies. May be required to set up, operate and perform routine maintenance on process equipment.
This position is for our day shift which is Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:00pm.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and minimal risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
