Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 for the second shift (3pm–12:30am) on a 9x80 schedule. You will assemble precision electromechanical products, using drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping, and inspect with a microscope to ensure tight tolerances.

A high school diploma or GED with related experience is required; read/write English and J-STD-001 certification are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 2 years related experience or education.
• Experience using a microscope to inspect assemblies.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must be able to work Second Shift 3pm-12:30am.
• Able to achieve J-STD-001 certification.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision electromechanical products.
• Perform drilling, reaming, burnishing and tapping with precision tools.
• Assemble, disassemble, repair and reassemble precision units.
• May work on prototype assemblies for engineering teams.
• Monitor and verify quality per statistical/process controls.
• Work under a microscope for assembly and inspection tasks.
