Job summary

TransCore-Amtech Systems (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Operator II in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves mechanical and automated assembly of PWAs, following drawings and instructions.

You will operate Pick-N-Place and Wave Solder equipment, maintain data accuracy, and support setup and basic maintenance. A HS diploma and 2 years' related experience are preferred; IPC/CATTS/E-CATTS/RATTS certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
• Soldering experience and IPC soldering certs (CATTS/E-CATTS/RATTS).
• MS Office and data entry skills.
• Good communication skills including reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and hand soldering of PWAs to meet quality standards.
• Operate Pick-N-Place, Wave Solder and other SMT equipment.
• Record data accurately electronically or by hand.
