Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Coralville, IA is seeking an Assembly Operator to join our onsite manufacturing team. This 2nd shift role focuses on machine and manual assembly, quality control, and accurate following of procedures and work instructions.

You will read and interpret safety rules, routing, and SAP-based workflows, build parts to drawings, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while staying focused on safety and quality. U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or equivalent. In the absence of a HS diploma or equivalent, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine and/or manual assembly.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
• Understand and use computer tools such as SAP and accurately follow work instructions.
• Achieve process improvements and problem solving as needed.
