Job summary

Vantedge Medical in Wallingford, CT is seeking an Assembly Machine Operator II to safely and efficiently run assembly machinery across multiple processes in a weekend shift.

You will work onsite, train new operators occasionally, and help maintain quality and productivity with strict adherence to 6S and safety procedures. Requires a High School Diploma and 2+ years manufacturing experience; overtime and Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Technical School Diploma, or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, MOIs and work instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic math and communicate effectively.
• Overtime and Saturday work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly machines and equipment across multiple processes.
• Meet production rates while maintaining quality output.
• Perform basic gauging and visual inspections and verify gauges are correct and calibrated.
• Complete production paperwork for traceability.
• Enter labor hours in MES and track attendance.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 6S standards.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Assist in training new operators.
• Perform other duties as assigned
