Assembler

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour - $27.00/hour on W2, depending on experience.

Work Schedule

Day Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:30 am - 5:30 pm

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday | 5:00 pm - 3:30 am

Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday | 5:00 am - 5:30 pm

Duration

Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures.
• Test assembled products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with theassembly and testing of products.
• Read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent tools and rework techniques.
• Operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Create labor records for all transactions.
• Ensure good housekeeping within own work area.
• Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuousimprovement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
• Must be mechanically adept; able to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly.
• Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visaSponsorship.
