Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC in Dexter, Michigan, seeks an Assembler for a 1-Year Contract+ to perform production assembly on electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies, following detailed work instructions and diagrams.

Shift options include 1st (6:00 AM–2:00 PM) at $18.50/hour and 2nd (2:00 PM–10:00 PM) at $20.00/hour; some days may start as early as 5:00 AM; overtime Saturdays possible. Entry-level candidates welcome.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Assemble components such as modules, boards, panels, frames and cables.
• Follow visual aids, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written instructions.
• Set up layouts and use hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws and other equipment.
• Perform continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.
• Conduct quality inspections according to specifications.
• Identify assembly or quality issues and perform rework.
• Disassemble, modify, reassemble and test assemblies as required.
• Follow established production systems, procedures, quality standards and safety requirements.

Duration: 1-Year Contract+

Schedule: Monday - Friday

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM — $18.50/hour
  • Some days may require a 5:00 AM start.
  • Saturday overtime may be scheduled from 6:0
    AM–2:00 PM.
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM — $20.00/hour

Overview

The Assembler performs production assembly work on electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies. This position involves small-part assembly, following detailed work instructions and diagrams, using hand and power tools, performing quality checks, and completing rework or modifications when necessary.

Required Skills

• Assemble components such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
• Follow visual aids, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, layouts, and written or verbal assembly instructions.
• Set up initial layouts and use hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and other assembly equipment.
• Perform continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.
• Conduct quality inspections according to established specifications.

Experience
