An Oil and Gas services company in Shreveport, Louisiana, is looking for an Assembler to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing products, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring safety in the workplace. A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required, along with mechanical skills and proficiency with various tools. Qualifications

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Job Description:

Pay Rate: Starting at $18 / hour or more, depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire

Current Available Shifts

• Weekday AM Shift: Monday - Thursday (7am - 5:30pm) With some mandatory OT on Fridays
• Weekday PM Shift: Monday - Friday (5pm - 3:30am) + $3 shift diff. With some mandatory OT on Friday night into Saturday morning

All contractors must train on the weekday day shift (Monday - Friday, 7am - 5:30pm) for at least 3 weeks and then will be moved to the night shift during the week or stay on the weekday day shift if that is the shift they were hired for.

Job Summary

The Assembly and Test Operator is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures.
• Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
• Read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Create labor records for all transactions.
• Ensure good housekeeping within own work area.
• Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience.
• Must be mechanically adept; able to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly.
• Experience working with assembly-related operations or equivalent preferred.
