Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing assembler to safely assemble equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders.

The role involves wiring, hoses, hydraulics, and installing accessories on JLG/Jerr-Dan products, with lifting and crane operation as needed. You will work across multiple assembly areas, follow precise procedures, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a production environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor.
• Ability to operate power tools and follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately using tape measures.
• Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
• Identify required options from schematics and blueprints.
• Lift and stack subassemblies up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs.
• Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Maintain clean, safe work area in compliance with 6S standards.
