Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an Assembler in Batavia, IL for a contract-to-hire role on a first-shift schedule. You will assemble mechanical and electrical components, perform tests, and ensure quality and safety standards are met in a fully onsite manufacturing environment.

You will maintain inventory records, support shipping, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Prior assembly experience and basic measurement skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; basic math and measurement skills required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is beneficial.
• Able to read prints, use measuring tools, and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components according to specifications.
• Perform electrical testing and helium leak tests as needed.
• Handle packing, labeling, and preparation for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures during production.
