Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a light assembler to join our manufacturing team in Oklahoma. The role involves assembling parts at a bench or line, using hand tools and small power tools, and following technical drawings and instructions.

The position offers a 1st shift, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for growth and participation in continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, basic data entry skills, and the ability to read documents

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months manufacturing/repair experience in similar production environment or Vocational School training with comparable experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply information from documents.
• Willingness to overtime, weekends, and any shift in a teamwork environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with peers, area supervisors, and area engineers to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction; support continuous improvement.
• Read and use routing sheets, instructions, and templates to properly assemble and test hydraulic motors and related components, troubleshooting as needed.
• Select, assemble, and identify parts; press bearings, align shafts, seat seals and spacers; visually inspect parts for defects and ensure proper fit.
• Maintain gauging and assembly equipment; perform basic maintenance; complete scrap and timecard entries.
• Perform 5S housekeeping and support lean initiatives; assist with setup reduction, continual flow, and error-proofing.
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations; use PPE and adhere to lockout/tagout and SDS requirements.
