Job summary

Trident Systems, based in Chantilly, VA, seeks an Aerospace Electronics Assembly Technician to assemble, inspect, and test high-reliability space and defense hardware. You will follow engineering docs, perform cable/harness work, soldering, and ensure quality per standards in a collaborative manufacturing setting.

The role requires attention to detail and hands-on capabilities, with duties including wiring, documentation, and adherence to IPC/J-STD standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Level B: 4 years related experience or 2 yrs post-secondary with minimal related experience.
• Level C: 6 years related experience or 2 yrs post-secondary with minimal related experience.
• Experience with electronics or cable assemblies.
• Experience with circuit board soldering/desoldering.
• Basic ability to use MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical product per instructions and manuals.
• Follow written instructions to perform tasks consistently.
• Identify and resolve straightforward issues using judgment.
• Perform wiring harness and cable assembly with continuity checks.
• Apply J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards to work.
• Use small hand tools, calibrated equipment, and soldering/desoldering gear.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
