Job summary

Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to manage complex payroll processes for a diverse workforce. You will collaborate with finance and payroll professionals to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing across various classifications and bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities include reviewing payroll transactions, maintaining payroll records, and resolving discrepancies while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and labor agreements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1st shift 7am-5pm; overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Experience with automated payroll systems (ADP, Ceridian, Workday, PeopleSoft or SAP).
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Detail oriented with time management skills.
• Experience with a time management system (Kronos preferred).
• Understands Federal and Pennsylvania payroll laws and payroll tax laws.
• Ability to think and work independently.
• Ability to work with confidential information such as salaries, bonuses, employee information, etc.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll transactions across diverse classifications and compensation structures.
• Maintain payroll records and balance monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date reports.
• Resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with policies and labor agreements.
• Provide exceptional customer service in response to payroll-related inquiries.
• Verify payroll distribution controls for hours, overtime, and shift differentials.
• Assist with changes to payroll master files when needed.
