Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Bookkeeper Clerk at the Adult Rehabilitation Center to manage financial transactions, maintain records, and support compliant accounting operations.

This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role leverages Acumatica and Shelby Accounts Receivable to process AP, post journal entries, reconcile daily sales, and generate reports. Strong Excel skills and discretion are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Degree required.
• Accounting Certificate or 2-year associate's degree preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions using Acumatica accounting software.
• Handle accounts payable, including check processing and vendor management.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Reconcile daily sales and bank statements.
• Process and reconcile CounterPoint POS reports.
• Prepare financial reports for Adult Rehabilitation Center.
