Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Up to 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals.
• Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts.
• Resolves assembly problems by adjusting dimensions to meet specs and coordinating with supervisor for resources.
• Keeps equipment operational by performing preventive maintenance.
• Maintains inventory by checking stock and ordering supplies as needed.
• Communicates with supervisor about potential issues.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and follows safety procedures.
• Contributes to team with quality and timely results.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
