Lippert Components, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Laborer to join our Indiana facility. The role involves preparing, assembling, and inspecting components per specifications and blueprints, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, up to 2 years in manufacturing, and willingness to work overtime. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; hands-on use of hand tools is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
• Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor for resources.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintains supplies inventory and anticipates needed items; places orders.
• Communicates daily with supervisor regarding potential issues.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Ensures safety measures to protect personnel and company property.
• Contributes to team effort by delivering quality and timely results.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor and management.
