Job summary

Lippert Components is seeking an Assembly Laborer in Indiana to support component assembly according to specifications. You will read blueprints, prepare parts, and perform subassembly work in a fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper fit, maintaining tools and safety practices, and assisting with daily production targets. This full-time position requires flexibility, overtime as needed, and clear communication with team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to identify product meets quality and productivity standards.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to focus on details to guarantee production of high quality products.
• Ability to read and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals.
• Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists.
• Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
• Assemble components and check connections for a proper fit.
• Resolve assembly problems by adjusting dimensions and notifying supervision.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks.
• Monitor inventory and place orders to avoid shortages.
• Communicate issues daily with supervisor to prevent delays.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and compliant with rules.
• Support team to achieve quality and timely results.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
