Qualifications

• Working knowledge of computers; Medical terminology required; SEH training during orientation may cover terminology.

Responsibilities

• Register/admit patients and obtain required information for treatment and billing.
• Obtain signatures for treatment and reimbursement; verify third-party payer coverage and pre-authorizations.
• Collect self-pay balances and schedule planned clinical services; assist with patient enrollment and demographics.
• Transcribe orders in the patient accounting system and ensure accurate data entry.
• Provide professional customer service, handle inquiries, and route referrals to appropriate resources.
• Support day-to-day operations and maintain compliance with policies.
