Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The role secures accounts with eligible insurance and authorization and completes patient pre-registration for scheduled procedures in Norton Healthcare facilities.
• Initiates authorizations for status changes and non-scheduled inpatient admissions, verifies payer eligibility, benefits, and estimated payment responsibility.
• Completes pre-registration interviews, collecting demographics and insurance information, documenting in the EMR, and informing patients of potential financial responsibility.
