Job summary

Keysight Technologies seeks a Solutions Engineer to join our pre-sales team. You will develop deep expertise in high-speed digital and optical technologies and translate customer needs into effective demo-oriented solutions.

You will deliver on-site demonstrations, present technical material at seminars and customer events, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence product direction. This field role requires travel and a strong customer-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience with customer-facing technical responsibilities.
• Hands-on with test equipment, measurement workflows, solution development, and problem solving.
• Strong understanding of high-speed digital measurement applications and/or optical interfaces.
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, C, Python, and/or MATLAB.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle and transport test equipment (lift 50 lbs).
• Independent, highly competitive with a drive to win and teach.
• Comfortable challenging customers with unique perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expertise on high-speed digital and optical products, including oscilloscopes, testers, and analyzers.
• Translate customer requirements into solutions built around Keysight hardware and software.
• Plan and deliver complex demonstrations at customer sites.
• Create and present technical presentations and demos at seminars and events.
• Act as the customer voice to influence product design and development.
• Collaborate with internal teams across account management, marketing, R&D, and services.
