Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to support EAE, demonstrate features, and help customers through architecture implementation and project delivery. You will train system integrators and work with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions.

The role requires strong programming skills (C/C++, Python, JavaScript) and experience with IT/OT convergence, Docker/Kubernetes, and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT Programming, or Code Development.
• Background as an Embedded Software Engineer with IT focus.
• Familiarity with IIoT and IT/OT convergence.
• Proficiency in OOP, Windows and Linux development, Docker/Kubernetes/Swarm, virtualization, event-driven methods, and cybersecurity (SDL2, IEC62443).
• Experience with networking (LAN/WAN/VLAN, routers, switches) and protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, EthernetIP, Profinet, HTTPS, MQTT).
• Experience in C/C++, Python, JavaScript; OT knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate EAE features and conduct workshops to promote capabilities.
• Define code structures and develop library elements to ease customer use of EAE.
• Provide on-site architecture implementation support for customers and sales teams.
• Guide customers through implementation; ensure project success and adoption.
• Document processes and create use cases and success stories from projects.
• Develop System Integrator partners in the region for EAE deployment.
