Job Title: Pre-Sales Solution Consultant II [MULTIPLE POSITIONS]

Job Location: Plano, TX and various unanticipated sites throughout the US

Job Type: Full Time

Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Plano, TX is $106,100 - $212,200 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. Duties:

1. Engage with potential and existing customers to understand customer needs and high-level requirements for selling and implementing software in collaboration with the sales team.
2. Utilize knowledge of business needs, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
3. Develop in-depth knowledge of the engineering software solutions offered by the company, especially those relevant to chemical engineering applications.
4. Support product and solution positioning by preparing and delivering demonstrations of the technical capabilities of the proposed solutions to customers using standard material.
5. Customize and adapt standard material to increase customer’s understanding of the proposed solution by addressing the unique needs and challenges of potential clients in the Energy engineering sector.
6. Prepare detailed services, license scope, cost estimation for delivery, cost of risks, and schedule for the complete implementation project based on the specific proposed solution.
7. Provide pre-sales technical support in the process engineering area (Chemical Engineering) by leveraging a combination of application and domain expertise to customers in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Power Generation, Pharmaceuticals and F&B industries.
8. Develop software capabilities in the process engineering area (Chemical engineering) by evaluating current product functionality, identifying needs to be filled, monitoring competitive products, and analyzing and relaying customer requirements to the product development team.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Chemical Engineering, or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1. Working with Plant Engineering Systems and industrial processes.
2. Working with design engineering project documents including process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), Lists, and Datasheets.
3. Working with Process Simulator Software including Hysys, PRO II, Aspen Plus, and Pro Max.
4. Working with Process Calculations including HTRI software.
5. Working with the customer requirements in the Chemical Engineering field to support implementation of solutions.

Telecommuting is permissible pursuant to company policy. 25% Domestic travel required. [REMOTE ROLE]
