Job summary

Proficio is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the US (travel required; position based out of Irvine, CA). The Solutions Engineer will support PoC initiatives for the sales team and PoC customers, designing and implementing solutions to demonstrate Proficio’s capabilities and help close opportunities.

The role requires SME-level expertise across security disciplines (SIEM, endpoint, perimeter), strong communication, and a background in pre-sales within a services organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with SIEM and security monitoring systems.
• Pre-sales experience in a services organization is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Strong knowledge of security products and techniques (SIEM, firewall, IDS/IPS).
• Ability to design and deliver PoCs and demos.

Responsibilities

• Be a technical resource to drive sales during PoCs, including reports and dashboards in SIEM.
• Design and execute demos to showcase security monitoring capabilities.
• Support sales to close deals and serve as escalation point for technical issues.
• Act as a business advisor to customers with executive-level selling insights.
• Share knowledge across technology areas and ensure contract scope matches upgrades.
• Assist in transitioning from sales to implementation.
