Job summary

Vectra is seeking a Security Engineer (Pre-Sales) to blend deep technical expertise with strong customer‑facing skills in Chicago. You will guide prospects through technical discovery, present compelling demonstrations, and deliver proofs‑of‑concept that showcase our AI‑driven detection and response platform.

Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, grow product knowledge, and build strong technical relationships with customers and channel partners. Travel within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Account Management or Security Engineering.
• Experience with enterprise security product lines and architectures.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales support and Technical Account Management with Regional Sales Managers.
• Walk customers through demos and problem solving as the subject matter expert.
• Communicate across functions to align stakeholders and ensure best practices.
• Develop deep technical knowledge of the Vectra product line.
• Identify new opportunities by building strong technical relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of current security landscape and competitors.
• Collaborate on technology reviews, product findings, and integrations.
• Participate in deployment reviews and design release meetings.
• Travel as needed within the region.
