Job Description

Sapiens is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer, Life, to join our North America Sales team. The role involves understanding customer requirements, pitching solutions, preparing proposals, and providing technical expertise to close business opportunities within the Life division.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide pre-sales expertise supporting sales efforts across North America and globally, engaging with customers to articulate value propositions.
  • Deliver business-oriented presentations and lead benefits assessments, including developing ROI/ROR analyses.
  • Architect solutions to meet customer business requirements.
  • Prepare, configure, and deliver product demonstrations.
  • Respond to RFPs and contribute to proposals and SOW generation.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members.
  • Support marketing events and campaigns.
  • Configure and manage integrations with partner solutions.
  • Create prototypes to architect solutions for prospects.
  • Collaborate on market analysis and product feature enhancements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or as a Sales Engineer.
  • Ability to independently prepare and deliver demos.
  • Solution design skills, including multiple solutions and prototypes.
  • Strong understanding of Life & Annuities insurance business, with hands-on experience preferred.
  • Experience with L&A insurance systems at a super user level.
  • Knowledge of insurance software solutions, preferably in an insurance vendor environment.
  • Ability to engage at senior levels and present to executive management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
