Job summary

Duvo Inc. is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to work remotely across Europe, with occasional travel to Prague and customer sites in the region and the US. The role sits between sales and engineering, designing pilots and running demos to convert interest into signed contracts.

Job Description

Duvo helps big companies actually finish the operational work that nobody on somebody's inbox, three spreadsheets, and the occasional phone call. Our customers include one of Europe's largest online grocery retailers, a global beauty e-commerce brand, a Middle East retail group, and a European pharmacy large retailer or FMCG brand. This role sits between sales and engineering, designing the pilot that gets us from "this looks interesting" to a signed contract. It involves demo runs against the customer's process, with their data shape and their environment, bringing engineering in when necessary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, forward-deployed, or implementation
• Experience with retail or FMCG is a bonus
• Hands-on experience with SQL, scripting, REST APIs, basic Python (not necessarily a software engineer)
• Ability to explain technical concepts in plain English

Additional Details

You're the first pre-sales hire in your region. The role involves remote work across Europe / the US, with travel to customer sites in your region. A 45-minute session with Omar (Head of Commercial) covers the company overview and quick introductions.
