Job summary

Rittal LLC is looking for a Cooling Application Engineer to support Pre-Sales activities in the U.S. hyperscale data center market. You will provide technical expertise to assist sales teams in presenting liquid and air-cooling solutions, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements and deployment challenges.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering and over 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in application engineering and technical sales support. This role involves ongoing engagement with industry trends and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in application engineering, pre-sales, or technical sales support for data center cooling.
• Strong expertise in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and energy efficiency metrics.
• Experience working with hyperscale data centers or cloud providers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to present cooling solutions for hyperscale customers.
• Analyze customer requirements and develop customized cooling architectures.
• Conduct technical workshops and site visits for client engagement.
• Provide technical documentation and bid responses for proposals.
